Launch of the Stämpfli S1: A New Era in Rowing Excellence

We are excited to announce the official launch of the Stämpfli S1, unveiled at the prestigious River & Rowing Museum in Henley on October 24th, 2024. The event was attended by Olympic athletes, celebrated coaches, and even the Mayor of Henley, making it a truly memorable occasion.

The Stämpfli S1 is an 8.2-meter-long boat, available in six crew weights ranging from 55kg to 110kg. One of its standout features is the newly optimized bow canvas designed for bow-mounted wing riggers, enhancing both performance and design. The boat’s contoured monocoque structure showcases an evolution of the revolutionary Stämpfli ST1 single, providing greater leg space and making entry and exit from the boat easier than ever.

As always, the carbon wing is lightweight, sleek, and incredibly stiff, contributing to the boat’s speed and agility. All carbon materials used are pre-pregnated and heat-cured under high-pressure vacuum, ensuring longevity and maintaining the exceptional quality that Stämpfli is known for. The result is a lighter, stronger, and faster boat—the all-new Stämpfli S1.

At the launch event, Andre Perez, Chair of Janousek & Stämpfli, also introduced the company’s new vision, which goes beyond building world-class boats. Stämpfli is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within the company and the sport, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, supporting elite rowers with corporate sponsorships, and enhancing the enjoyment of rowing for all participants. We are also dedicated to providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that every rower has the best experience with Stämpfli.

The Stämpfli S1 marks a significant step forward in our journey to reshape the future of rowing.
